COST GUIDE

What does an exhibition stand cost?

Cost follows the build scope: area, construction, materials, height, AV, organiser services, freight, labour and lead time.

01

Is there a useful cost-per-square-metre benchmark?

ALLEXPO uses €300–€800+ per m² net only as an early planning range for custom stands.

It is not a price list. Two stands with the same area can require very different production and site work.

02

What is normally included?

A clear proposal identifies design, documentation, construction, graphics, equipment, transport, installation, handover and dismantling.

Organiser utilities, rigging, waste, floor-space rental and exhibitor travel are often separate.

03

Which choices increase cost fastest?

Complex custom forms, premium finishes, height, a second level, large AV, short lead times and difficult logistics increase scope.

The best savings come from simplifying the right elements early, not removing essentials during production.

04

How should estimates be compared?

Normalize currency, tax, materials, included venue services, labour hours, transport, dismantling and reuse assumptions.

Ask every supplier to list exclusions and technical assumptions.

Does a modular stand always cost less?

Not always. Reuse and repetition improve modular economics, while one-off adaptations and premium finishing can narrow the difference.

Can the calculator replace a quotation?

No. It creates a planning range; a quotation requires the event rules, design scope and confirmed logistics.
